Victoria and Albert Museum Visit

This past weekend I visited the V&A in London.  For those of you who do not know, they have an AMAZING selection of historical clothing as well as costumes.  While I was there one of their exhibits was on Wedding dresses.

Dita von Teese's wedding dress was there.
I took a picture from far away because pictures were not allowed inside the exhibit.
But this is the dress on Dita:

*sigh* gorgeous.

I won't ramble on about each of these awesome outfits, but here were some of my favorites from the museum:

I costume so much that even when I look at random things, like stained glass windows, my first thought is whether it is a viable costume recreation.  These two medieval stained glass windows were my two favorites- some day I want to recreate their dresses:

Not related to costuming at all, but I miss scones and clotted cream.  So delicious!
