Belle/Xena Commission

Belle and Xena.  One part bad-ass, beautiful warrior, one part beautiful, smart princess.  Put them together and you get gorgeous, bad-ass, smart, book loving AWESOMENESS.

My friend commissioned a Belle/Xena design, wanting to wear it to Ohayocon.  Here is the design and all the fabric/supplies:

First I started on the skirt, making each bit separately.  There were 14 big panels, and 250 little pentagons which I then sewed together by hand with gold buttons as embellishment.  Here is the skirt all assembled:

Then I started in on the corset:

Here it is all finished on my mannequin:

And on the commissioner at Ohayocon- look at how AWESOME she looks!!
