Thrifty Thursday- The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore

I stumbled upon this book 7ish months ago and fell in love.  The book was outrageously expensive...$28 for a kids book!  But I needed it.

I'm a bookworm.  And it made me cry in the middle of Changing Hands.  It was THAT BEAUTIFUL AND TOUCHING.

It is SO good it was turned into a short film.  Which you should all promptly watch.

And when I saw this picture- I knew I had to make her outfit.

It was just perfection.

So for this Thrifty Thursday I decided to make her outfit. I gathered a red pillow case, a white shirt, a white sheet, and a pair of brown leather heels from Goodwill and got to work.

 

And then because it looked so silly with me standing on the ground, I decided to photoshop myself...
