Fired Lord of the Rings Plates
I finally got some pictures of my finished plates and
serving bowl. I really enjoy how they
turned out, and cannot wait to see them in my new house in 7 days!! The tree on the Gondor plate cracked a bit in
the kiln because I made the paint too thick, but I still consider it a success
as the black did not show through, which is what I mostly feared. The quotes in black around the edge are also
perfect. They show just enough, but not
too much so they steal the spotlight.
